I’m super happy to announce that an updated version of Pizzaland, WordPress theme for restaurants/bistros/cafes, is live on WP.org.

Here’s what’s new.

Widgets Area in the Footer
As anticipated in Adding Google Maps to Pizzaland (or any WordPress Theme) Pizzaland now has a widget area in the footer.

Now it’s easy to add a Google Maps widget using the Maps Builder plugin straight from the Appearance > Widgets panel:

Or you can easily add a Twitter feed and more using other plugins or the core widgets WordPress provides out of the box.

There have also been other minor changes of a technical nature, but I won’t bother you with those. If you’re curious, the readme.txt file includes a changelog with the details.
