In this post I’m going to show you how to set up my first WordPress.org theme, Dorian. I’ll be showing you the Customizer options, how to control the output of the post excerpt, and how to create both the main navigation and the social links.
Here is my first theme for WordPress.org.
Dorian is a clean and modern blogging WordPress theme for the dedicated writer.
It’s available in three pre-built color schemes: dark purple, which is the default skin, red, and blue. You can easily pick your color scheme from the Customize panel (Appearance > Customize).
Customizing a theme involves a crucial step: replacing the original theme’s images with your own.
