In this post I’m going to show you how to set up my first WordPress.org theme, Dorian. I’ll be showing you the Customizer options, how to control the output of the post excerpt, and how to create both the main navigation and the social links.
This morning I got the great news from one of the WordPress.org admin team: my first theme, Dorian, has been definitely approved to go live today!

Dorian is a clean and modern blogging WordPress theme for the dedicated writer.
It’s available in three pre-built color schemes: dark purple, which is the default skin, red, and blue. You can easily pick your color scheme from the Customize panel (Appearance > Customize).
